MISSION STATEMENT

To successfully cater for the needs of the Automotive, Footwear, Clothing, Furniture, Packaging, Printing and related industries, supplying quality products on time, at the right price and being adaptable to development and change at short notice, in order to create a stable environment for our staff and enable our customers to compete competitively in local and international markets.


STANDARD OF CONDUCT

We conduct our operations with honesty, integrity and openness, and with respect for the human rights and interests of our employees.

We shall similarly respect the legitimate interests of those with whom we have relationships.

PMC Group of Companies and employees are required to comply with the laws and regulations of the countries in which we operate.

Ensuring that customer information is secure and protected.

Being committed to strict debt recovering processes and not allowing paying customers to incur indirect additional costs as a result of non-paying customers.

ACCOUNTING PRACTICE

PMC will conduct its operations in accordance with internationally accepted principles of good corporate governance. We will provide timely, regular and reliable information on our activities, structure, financial situation and performance to our auditors.

Undisclosed or unrecorded accounts, funds or assets will not be maintained or established.

BROAD BASED BLACK ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT

The PMC GROUP fully support the principles of Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment.

PMC companies are encouraged to promote and defend their legitimate business interests.

PMC will co-operate with government and other organizations, both directly and through bodies such as trade associations, in the development of proposed legislation and other regulations which may effect legitimate business interests.

THE ENVIRONMENT

PMC is committed to making continuous improvements in the management of our environmental impact and to the longer - term of a sustainable business.

PMC will work with others to promote environmental care, increase understanding of environmental issues and disseminate good practice.

COMPETITION

PMC believes in vigorous yet fair competition and supports the development of appropriate competition laws. PMC companies and employees will conduct their operations in accordance with the principles of fair competition and all applicable regulations.

BUSINESS INTEGRITY

PMC is committed to a high standard of corporate governance.

PMC rejects bribary and corruption in all forms, whether public or private, active or passive.

PMC does not give or receive, whether directly or indirectly, bribes or other improper advantages in order to bestow business or financial gain. No employee may offer, give or receive any gift or payment which is or may be construed as being a bribe. Any demand for, or offer of a bribe must be rejected immediately and reported to management.

CONFLICT OF INTERESTS

All PMC employees are expected to avoid personal activities and financial interests which could conflict with the interests of the Group, produce conflicting loyalties or interests, or interfere with effective job performance or which involve the appearance of conflict of interest.

PMC employees must not seek gain for themselves or others through misuse of their positions.

Directors and employees who have private financial and/or business interest outside their work activities with PMC must report such interests to management to keep a record thereof.

COMPLIANCE - MONITORING - REPORTING

Compliance with these principles is only the first step and is an essential element in our business success. The PMC Board is responsible for having policies in place to guide employees and also for ensuring these principles are communicated to, and understood and observed by all employees.

Day-to-day responsibility is delegated to the senior management of the various regions and companies. They are responsible for implementing these principles, if necessary through more detailed guidance tailored to local needs.

Assurance and compliance is monitored each year by the Board.

Any breaches of the Code must be reported in accordance with procedures in place.

The Board will not criticise management for any loss of business resulting from adherence to these principles and other mandatory policies and instructions.

The PMC Board expects employees to bring to their attention, or to that of senior management, any breach or suspected breach of these principles.

Provisions have been made for employees to be able to report in confidence and no employee will suffer as a consequence of doing so. On the foundation of these values and principles we will continue to build a business of which we are, and will be proud!
