The AN 400 is manufactured by Fortuna GmbH. This splitting machine is suitable for leather and materials of the same kind in the shoe and leather goods industries. Alternatively, it is also used with interior equipment in the automotive industry.

It is available with 2 machine types. The AN 400, which has a dial gauge to indicate splitting thickness, and the AN 400 E with LC-display of splitting thickness and automatic incision device for belt ends. In addition, it has a working width of 400 mm, and separate grinding dust and scrap suction devices.
